    • #1 Use The Hub letterhead (WRD3). NOTE:  If you had mistakes on WRD-3, be sure to correct them and RE-SAVE as a new template! IF YOU LOST WRD-3, you must do it again! Be sure to see the special instructions below (your WRD-3 letterhead has YOUR NAME and PERIOD on it!)
    • #6 Hit "Enter" twice before you type the heading
      • The heading should be on one line (Change the font or font size if necessary)
    • #14 Skip and complete the following:
      • Table Alignment: Center table horizontally on your page
      • Shade column headers:  White, background 1, Darker 15% (Notice that when you hover over a color, it has a name. Look for the one named "White, Background 1, Darker 15%)
      • Column Headers:  Align Bottom Center
      • Row Headers:  Align bottom left
      • All numbers:  Align Bottom Right
      • All text UNDER the Description column:  Align Bottom Left
    • Set Column Widths :
      • Membership Name column: 2.35” Width

  • Do NOT submit to my online folder.  Instead, you will PRINT your envelope, three-hole punch it along the bottom of the envelope, and put it in your binder behind your WRD4 notes.

     #7 -- Set image size to 1.08 x 1.17 (width x height). HINT:  Insert the picture and change the width. Don't change the height. It will automatically adjust the height.

    #8 -- Type the first line:  The Hub.  Add a new line below The Hub with your name, Office Specialist-PX.  Remove the hyperlink from the email address and website.  Replace the ~ in the street address with a comma.  Leave the ~ in the line with the phone number.

    When your document is complete (and you're SURE there are NO ERRORS), SAVE THE FILE AS A TEMPLATE (Word Template) INTO YOUR HUB FOLDER.  Verify you have saved it correctly.

      • Student Name, Office Specialist - PX (X is your period)
      • Use this format EVERY TIME you are writing your position as Office Specialist -- on ALL Hub Assignments!
    • #7  Align the image to the left margin.  The height of the image should be the same height as the text that is aligned to the right. (DO NOT PUT THE IMAGE IN THE MARGIN OR HEADER)
    • #10  Insert this year (2016) in place of the dash in the Dateline. 
    • BEFORE YOU PRINT, Use PRINT PREVIEW to verify that your document will only print on ONE PAGE.  If not, make adjustments (Did you remember to remove the extra line spacing?)
