Financial Operations Honors




Course Description 
This course is designed to provide an overview of the legal forms of business organization and the most common ways businesses raise capital. Students will develop a basic understanding of investing, including an introduction to the stock market, and become familiar with the major functions of banks and credit unions, central banking by the Federal Reserve System and modern trends and career opportunities in the finance industry.  In addition, students are introduced to credit, how credit cards work, and how to manage one's credit.
